Bio Vee Seal is an internal concrete sealer. It does not work on CRACKS (OK - the picture is misleading!). It is an internal sealer. It stops or slows the flow of liquids through the concrete itself (concrete is rather porous). It clogs up the pores in the cement slowing or preventing moisture (or other liquids) from flowing through the concrete (moisture from the ground or oils stains etc. from spills on the top surface). Often too much moisture moving through the concrete can result in a damp basement and prevent coatings/paints from bonding to the damp concrete. It looks like soapy water. You apply to the floor, it soaks in, the water evaporates. Nothing, except perhaps a few tiny white crystal specks, remains on the surface. Nothing to peel or chip. Often used as a pretreatment before a floor paint is applied. Available in quarts, gallons and 5 gallon units. Water based so may not be available for shipping in winter.
